About Lewis
Hello, everyone - I'm Lewis, a 26 year-old guitarist and musician from Wiltshire.
I want to teach for a few reasons- For one thing, I've spent the least 12 years trying to become as good as I can be at the guitar, but now I feel like I need to use my ability for something better than just playing at home all day; to that end I'm gigging fairly regularly now, but I'd also like to show others what I've learned over the years!
The other reason is that I would like to teach music professionally one day, ideally to teens and young adults, and this seems like a good way of getting started in the music education world.

Lessons 45mins long; for ages 12+; beginner to advanced.
My aim as a teacher is to help the student achieve their goals. Once we have discussed their goals together, I can guide the student to wherever they want to be with their playing!
Teaching methods include set playing exercises and critical listening. Some musical analysis may be involved, depending on the student's goals.
Qualifications:
Graduated from BIMM Bristol in 2021 with a degree in Music Performance, First Class honours.
Has been playing guitar for 12 years, and gigging for 5.
Several years experience teaching guitar privately and occasionally with the Bristol Rock Project - primary school age to young adults.

True hourly rate is £26.66p/h, but lessons only last 45 mins. If the student wants a full hour, the price will come down to £24.
Travel fee applies to any area outside of Trowbridge.
