About Jenna

I have 8 years of experience teaching guitar, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance. My journey with music started from a deep love for sound and expression. Over time, I realized how powerful guitar can be in telling stories and sharing emotions. This inspired me to start teaching and help others discover their own musical voice.

My teaching style is based on patience, clarity, and connection. I believe every student learns differently, so I take time to understand their needs and goals. I guide students step by step, making sure they feel comfortable and confident at every stage. I focus on building strong fundamentals while also encouraging creativity and personal expression.

Outside of teaching, I continue to explore music through practice, performance, and listening to different styles. This keeps my approach fresh and engaging. Teaching guitar is something I truly enjoy because I get to see students grow in confidence and skill. Helping them enjoy music and express themselves is what makes this journey meaningful for me.

About the lesson

My guitar lessons are designed to make learning engaging, practical, and enjoyable for every student. I use a mix of storytelling, humor, and real music examples to help learners connect with what they are playing. Instead of only focusing on technical exercises, I guide students to understand how music feels and how to express themselves through it. We work on techniques like bending, vibrato, tone shaping, and phrasing in a step-by-step manner. This helps students build both skill and confidence naturally.

I adapt each lesson based on the student’s level and goals. Some learners need encouragement and steady progress, while others want deeper technical challenges. I provide both by balancing structure and creativity. Lessons include practice routines, song-based learning, and improvisation exercises. I also focus on stage confidence, helping students feel comfortable performing in front of others. This creates a complete learning experience beyond just playing notes.

As students continue learning, they become more confident, expressive, and comfortable with their instrument. They start to enjoy practice and feel proud of their progress. My goal is to help learners develop not only strong skills but also a genuine connection with music that lasts long-term.
