About Roselyn
Hi, I'm Roselyn! I picked up my first acoustic guitar at age eight and never put it down. By high school I was performing electric guitar in my school rock band, exploring the deep soulful world of blues and jazz, and teaching myself fingerstyle techniques just out of pure musical curiosity. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.Ed.) from Louisiana State University, where my training included guitar performance across multiple genres, music theory, ensemble playing, and ukulele instruction. With 7 years of experience, I have worked with over 310 happy students across the US, from first-time players learning their very first chords to students developing their own confident and unique style across blues, jazz, and rock. I was honored with the Guitar Educator Excellence Award by the Louisiana String Teachers Association for my outstanding and creative contributions to online guitar education. My lessons always match your musical personality and taste — because the guitar lesson you look forward to most is the one that makes you grow the fastest.

I offer online one-on-one live guitar lessons for students up to Grade 12 and college first-year students. My lessons cover Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Blues Guitar, Jazz Guitar, Rock Guitar, Fingerstyle Guitar, Ukulele, Chord Progressions, Scales, Music Theory for Guitar, Strumming and Picking Techniques, Improvisation, and Guitar Performance Skills.
