About Ervin

I have started to play on guitar when I was 6, and since then the music and the guitar are very important part of my life. I have studied and played in very different styles of music (classical, jazz, blues, rock, reggae, etc.) and in various formations. Nowadays I am a member of a jazz trio, a jazz duo and a blues band, and I play frequently in festivals, events, hotels, restaurants and bars across Europe.

About the lesson

Especially because of the experiences of my early age, but also as a graduate teacher I do not believe in frontal education where the good student can fit in a prefabricated cube and the teacher speaks and asks questions and the student has to answer and cram. I believe it has to be a continuous interaction between us and just as everyone has his own personality, everyone has his own way through which he or she can start to explore the endless world of music without the chance to hate learning about it. So, it cannot be said there is only one method, but I have as many methods as many students I got and I believe in the teacher's most important task to find the most suitable motivational factors and to find the straightest way for every one of them , which depends on their ages, their experiences, their knowledge, their personalities and their attitudes.
