About Ernest
Four years old was when I first grabbed a guitar neck, and I have not looked back since. Dealing with 13 years of playing has taught me plenty. I spent 7 years gigging across Sydney and Melbourne in various indie rock bands.
That road experience shapes how I view the fretboard now. It is just real life, messy and loud. Teaching is genuinely the best part of my week.
I love helping people get the hang of music theory and blues progressions. Watching someone finally nail a difficult strumming pattern is great.

Performance focused students will appreciate the practical tips I share from my touring days. We keep things structured but loose enough to actually enjoy the process. You will get the hang of this without the usual academic stuffiness.
