About Skye
I am a guitar tutor with 7 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance. Teaching allows me to share my love for music while helping students develop confidence through enjoyable and structured learning.
My lessons combine technical guidance with creative exploration. I encourage every learner to build strong foundations while discovering their own musical style. Individual support helps students progress comfortably and achieve their personal goals.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing music, performing with local musicians, and exploring different guitar styles. These experiences keep my lessons fresh and help students experience music beyond technical practice.

My guitar lessons help students enjoy music while building strong technical skills from the beginning. We start with posture, chord transitions, rhythm patterns, strumming control, and finger exercises before moving to melodies and complete songs. Every lesson includes practical demonstrations, listening activities, and guided practice that make learning comfortable and enjoyable. I encourage students to play confidently while developing good habits through regular practice.
As students improve, we explore fingerstyle playing, barre chords, scales, improvisation, solo phrasing, tone control, and musical expression. I explain every technique step by step and provide exercises that improve coordination, timing, and accuracy. Personal feedback helps learners overcome challenges while building confidence in every session.
My goal is to help students become expressive guitar players who enjoy performing and creating music. Every lesson develops technique, creativity, and musical understanding while keeping learning motivating and rewarding.
