About Caitlin
My passion for guitar began from listening to live performances and experimenting with songwriting during my early musical journey. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Guitar Studies and have spent the last 5 years helping students strengthen musical confidence through practical teaching methods and supportive guidance.
I enjoy adapting lessons for different personalities, skill levels, and musical goals. Some students improve through technical repetition and structured exercises, while others grow faster through improvisation and creative exploration. My teaching style combines patience, encouragement, and balanced musical development.
Outside teaching, I enjoy recording acoustic arrangements, studying modern guitar styles, and composing instrumental music. Staying connected to music helps me introduce fresh inspiration into lessons. Teaching guitar is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students express creativity and confidence through music.

My guitar lessons help students build strong technical ability while enjoying the creative process of making music. I teach rhythm techniques, chord progressions, scales, fingerstyle playing, improvisation, timing control, and melody development through structured activities that make learning enjoyable and approachable. Lessons are supportive, motivating, and designed to encourage steady improvement.
Beginners improve through guided chord exercises, rhythm practice, and simple songs that gradually strengthen coordination and musical understanding. Intermediate learners develop stronger finger control, timing accuracy, and improvisation skills through technical drills and structured repertoire study. Advanced students focus on expressive solo performance, advanced techniques, and polished musical interpretation through detailed preparation activities.
I encourage students to explore music naturally instead of worrying about perfection. Lessons support creativity, confidence, and independent musical growth while helping learners improve comfortably. My goal is to help students become expressive, relaxed, and confident guitar players.
