About Sophie
My passion for guitar began through listening to different musical genres and experimenting with rhythm and melody during my early learning years. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Music Performance and Guitar Studies. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students build strong technical skills and musical confidence.
I believe music learning should be practical, enjoyable, and easy to understand. My teaching style focuses on step-by-step guidance, real musical examples, and consistent practice habits that help students improve naturally. I encourage students to stay curious and experiment because creativity grows through exploration.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing music, recording guitar pieces, and exploring different genres. Staying connected to music helps me bring fresh ideas into lessons. Teaching guitar is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students find their own musical voice. My goal is to support every learner in becoming confident and expressive musicians.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students develop strong rhythm, clean chord transitions, and expressive playing through structured practice and guided learning. I teach strumming patterns, finger placement, chord progressions, scales, timing control, improvisation, and musical phrasing in a calm and supportive environment. Students learn how consistent practice improves coordination and musical confidence over time. Every lesson is designed to feel simple, engaging, and motivating.
Lessons are adapted according to each learner’s level and musical goals. Beginners focus on basic chords, rhythm exercises, posture, and simple songs, while advanced learners work on solo playing, improvisation, complex rhythms, and performance preparation. I include backing track practice, ear training, and repetition exercises regularly because active engagement strengthens musical ability effectively. Students receive supportive feedback that helps them improve without pressure or confusion.
I aim to create a relaxed space where students feel free to explore music at their own pace. Many learners struggle with timing or smooth transitions, so I focus on gradual improvement through patience and clear goals. Over time, students develop stronger rhythm, better coordination, and expressive musical style. Guitar becomes more enjoyable when learners discover their personal sound.
