About Anika
I’m a passionate guitar tutor with 6 years of teaching experience and a bachelor’s degree in music, specialising in helping students of all skill levels reach their full potential. My own journey with the guitar began early, and I’ve dedicated myself to both performing and teaching ever since. I believe that learning guitar should be an inspiring and enjoyable experience for every student. My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals while encouraging creativity and personal expression. I tailor each lesson to the individual’s interests and goals, whether that means mastering fingerpicking, understanding music theory, or developing solid rhythm skills. I aim to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable to explore and grow. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of learners, from absolute beginners to advanced players preparing for performances or exams. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adjust my methods to suit each student’s unique learning style and pace. This personalised attention helps foster confidence and steady progress. Outside of teaching, I remain actively involved in the music community through performing and continuous learning.
