About Andrew

I have been performing and teaching since the age of 16 and have been involved with various projects and run of shows as a guitarist, sound engineer, recording artist as well as tutoring privately one on one. Lessons are planned according to the students' capabilities, enthusiasm and what musical direction interests the individual the most. i.e. Classical/Rockschool Guitar Grades/reaching performance standard. Grades Taught : ABRSM 1-8, Trinity 1-8, Rockschool 1-8 Performance pieces outside of exams are also taught (there is some stuff too good not to) ; more than happy to teach pieces/songs of your choice. - North London based - 100% pass rate - Travel cost included outside of North Circular (between A10 and A1, M25 and A406) - Enhanced DBS __________ Personal Projects (concealed information) (concealed information) (concealed information) __________ (concealed information)

About the lesson

I approach each student as an individual and realise we all have different learning and playing abilities. I tailor lessons and write according to the strengths and weaknesses and I always look to maximise one's practice. Understanding attributes and attitude early on is key to decide which route on your guitar learning journey early on; taking on the classical/rock school graded exams, casual learning. Creativity is encouraged and I believe there is a guitarist in everyone.
