About Jabari
Hi, I'm Jabari! I am a 23-year-old multi-instrumentalist and music producer with years of experience playing guitar, bass, cello, and more. I actively work with a range of artists as a composer and producer, and I’m continuing to develop my craft through formal training in music production at LA Film School. My background allows me to teach not just technique but also how to apply it in real musical situations. I take a professional, structured approach to lessons while keeping them engaging and tailored to each student’s goals. My focus is on helping students build confidence, develop real skills, and enjoy the process of becoming musicians.

Teaching Method & Techniques
My approach is hands-on, practical, and tailored to each student. I focus on building a strong foundation (chords, scales, timing, and technique) while keeping lessons engaging by incorporating music you actually enjoy. I blend traditional fundamentals with real-world application, including ear training, improvisation, and creative development, so you’re not just learning guitar—you’re learning how to play music.
Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson starts with a quick warm-up or review, then moves into skill-building (technique, chords, or scales). From there, we apply those skills to songs or riffs you like, followed by time spent on creativity—whether that’s writing, improvising, or exploring your own sound. I also include optional basics of recording and production for students interested in making their own music.

I’m not just a teacher—I’m an active musician, composer, and producer working with artists right now. That means I teach what’s relevant, not outdated. I also play multiple instruments, which helps me give a broader understanding of music as a whole, not just the guitar. My goal is to help you sound good, feel confident, and actually enjoy the process.
