About Jack

MANCHESTER BASED GUITAR TEACHER Hi! My name’s Jack. I’ve been playing music my whole life, and have been playing guitar for 13 years now. I currently play in a rock band and have been gigging round London for the last 4 years, and have played shows in front of thousands of people, so if your goal is to develop your skills as a performer, I can definitely help! I started my musical journey with Violin at age 6. Since then I picked up piano and drums, but really fell in love with guitar when I started playing that 13 years ago. I have a BA degree in Guitar Performance, distinctions in ABRSM exams on multiple instruments and music theory and a love and passion for all things music!

About the lesson

I think the best way to learn an instrument is to make it fun and rewarding by focusing on music that inspires you. I’ve been teaching for 3 years now and have developed a way to tailor lessons to each individual student's requirements and interests. My goal is to have students see real development and improvement week by week, feel proud of what they are accomplishing on the instrument, enjoy the learning process, and even to get them confidently playing with other musicians in a band setting! I also have qualifications in music theory and other instruments such as drums, piano and violin, so I can develop and hone your skills on guitar, as well as deepening your overall knowledge of rhythm and different styles of music. Whether you love guitar music and want to take your playing and performing to the next level, or have just bought a guitar and want to learn from step 1, I have the knowledge and experience to guide you on that journey! I offer face-to-face lessons either at my place or yours (based in Fulham SW6) & online lessons! Cheers
