About Natalie
I am a guitar tutor with 11 years of experience and a degree in Guitar Studies and Modern Music Practice. My passion for guitar began with its ability to tell stories through both gentle melodies and powerful rhythms. Teaching guitar allows me to guide students in developing skill while discovering their own musical voice.
My teaching style is structured, encouraging, and creativity-focused. I help learners strengthen rhythm accuracy, chord transitions, finger technique, expressive soloing, and musical confidence. Many students begin feeling unsure about coordination, and I take pride in helping them improve through supportive step-by-step instruction. I believe learning guitar should feel exciting, not overwhelming.
Outside of tutoring, I remain active through composing, performing, and exploring diverse musical traditions. Watching students grow into confident guitarists is deeply fulfilling. My goal is to help you play with freedom, clarity, and pride, creating a guitar journey that inspires you.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students build strong skills while enjoying the creative freedom that guitar offers. Guitar is an instrument that can support rhythm, melody, songwriting, and personal expression in a very direct way. Many learners struggle at first with finger placement, chord switching, or timing, so I provide calm guidance that helps progress feel achievable. Each lesson is structured to support confidence, creativity, and long-term improvement.
In our sessions, we work on chord fluency, strumming consistency, fingerstyle development, solo phrasing, and basic music theory. Beginners learn essential chords, rhythm exercises, and simple songs that make early playing enjoyable. Intermediate students expand into barre chords, melodic picking, smoother transitions, and stronger genre understanding across pop, rock, and acoustic styles. Advanced learners refine improvisation, tone shaping, songwriting structure, and performance readiness. Every lesson includes clear feedback so growth feels steady.
Guitar learning builds patience, creativity, and musical identity. My goal is to help students feel proud of their sound and confident in their progress. Over time, playing becomes more natural and expressive. Each lesson becomes a meaningful step toward joyful guitar mastery.
