About Elvis
Hi, I'm Elvis. My parents first brought me a guitar when I turned 10 and it's something that's been a big part of my life ever since. I've played in various bands across a range of music genres and am passionate about many different aspects of music.
I find that teaching really inspires me, I love seeing my students improve and understand more about what they love doing, I want to pass down my knowledge now that I've been playing for quite a while.

I teach students to play guitar using Tab, or by ear. Though I do know theory I feel that this is the most effective way, my aim is for my students to eventually be able to learn songs just by listening to them, and have an understanding of what their playing, and how to improvise on the spot.
Lessons typically last 40 minutes to an hour depending on the student's skill level.
I've had over 9 years experience in playing guitar and bass, for a range of different genres. 3 of those years I've also spent teaching.
My lessons are aimed at people who want to improve their skills for when it comes to things like jamming with other musicians, playing in a band and learning the fundamentals of technique.
