I am 72 years old and a folk singer. Adam has taught me to play the blues, which is something I have been want to try for a long while. Adam is a very enthusiastic and talented guitarist. He has been teaching me how to play for two months. I am not very musical, but Adam is very patient and understanding. He has come up with finger exercises and slightly simpler variations of the chords in order to help me. He has also written backing tracks to supplement my learning, which helps me with my timing and movement between the chords. He has also helped me to download a guitar tuner, so that I am able to keep my guitar in tune. Most of our lessons have been face to face, but Adam has also used Zoom, which has been equally useful.
