My name is Amanda Lauer, I'm 21 years old, and I speak Haitian Creole. I've been learning this language for four years, and since then, I've made many Haitian friends who have always been very helpful in my learning. I do volunteer work helping Haitians and Brazilians, which has allowed me to become fluent in Haitian Creole, as I have a lot of contact with native speakers. I love this culture and want to share this language with as many people as possible. And to make the experience of Haitians in Brazil easier, I teach Portuguese to Haitians. I hope to help more people become interested in the Haitian people, who are so joyful.
