About Rahul
I’m a second year Medical student studying at UCL. I am a keen tutor with a passion for biology. I finished in the top 1% of the country in the 2017 edition of the UKCAT and I am featured on the current UCAT website ((concealed information) I don’t have a set teaching style since every student is an individual and deserves to be recognised as such. I initially aim to ascertain the student’s level of understanding of the subject material and their confidence/ability when it comes to answering exam questions. I then tailor my approach according to their needs. I tutored a student for the BMAT during the autumn of 2019. During years 11,12 and 13 I tutored biology to younger students at my school with weekly sessions. The teaching was at GCSE then A-Level. All 3 students improved as the years progressed and they managed to achieve the grades they wanted and were clearly capable of! Before this I also spent a year tutoring in a Kumon study centre where I helped younger children (around late primary school) complete English and Maths worksheets. I am available to tutor Biology at GCSE and AS/A-level. I also give training for the UKCAT and BMAT. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, I am available to do online lessons at the student’s leisure.
