About Nick
As a female Tabla percussionist, I have been learning and practicing Tabla since childhood. Tabla is an important instrument in Indian classical music, yet it is still less commonly learned by girls and women. I believe Tabla is a beautiful instrument that anyone can learn, regardless of gender. My passion is to share my knowledge and love for Tabla with others, encourage more people—especially young girls—to explore this art form, and create greater awareness and appreciation for Indian classical music and Tabla.

I teach Tabla from the absolute basics to the advanced level in a simple and structured way. We begin with correct hand posture, positioning, basic bols, and playing techniques. Gradually, we move from easy to moderate and then difficult levels, with proper practice guidance at every stage. I also teach Tabla theory, including its origin, history, bols, taal, and basic concepts, to help students develop both practical skills and a strong understanding of Tabla.
