• What motivates you to teach & why?

  The thing that motivates me to teach is simply sharing my knowledge with my students. I like it because it gives me a great satisfaction as whatever I have learned is not limited to me only it becomes a part of my students' learning as well. I like to pass on my knowledge as much as it is possible because knowledge should not be kept under a cage it should be passed on like a wind.

• When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?

  When I first saw a computer in my life from that day I felt a fire of curiosity inside me which is still there and will be there.Since my childhood I have been drawn to my subject Computer and trying to understand all the aspects and still I feel there is an ocean and I have only tasted a drop.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  If I had to think of a role model then it would be my class teacher Mrs. J. Nanu from whom I have learned the art of delivering content in such a way that even complex things becomes easy to understand and mugging up the answers are not required once the concept is clear. This is what I try to follow in my work where I concentrate on how I can make the student understand with as much ease as possible.

• What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?

  The biggest obstacle that I had to overcome was impatience. Every student is different and so is the ability to understand and learn the concepts. I have now become extremely patient and allow all the students to understand things at their pace and would also give them the authority to ask me to explain the same concept any number of times.

• In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?

  I feel practical knowledge and deep understanding of the subject are the two most important keys to excel in this area. It is essential because then only you can explain the students and answer all their queries.

• What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?

  I would first calm them down and would ask them to give me a chance to explain things first and then they can decide if they really want to give up or not. As I am confident once I explain them and clear all their doubts their fear regarding the subject will automatically vanish and they would definitely want to go forward in that subject instead of giving it up.

• How does someone become a Super Prof?

  To become a Super Prof you need to become Super Knowledgeable first. It is because as a Super Prof you are expected to have a deep knowledge regarding your subject. Along with that you also need to have a good teaching attitude to explain what you know to your students as well.
