About Muhammad
I tutored and demonstrated labs for various courses, including Material Science and Engineering, Engineering 1, Mechanics of Materials, Nanotechnology, Corrosion and Surface Engineering, Engineering Design, Metallurgy, Steel Structure, and Practical Skills in Mechanical Engineering. I chose these specific courses because they relate to my work, and I enjoy teaching them. In these classes, my major duty is to assist students with conducting experiments during lab sessions. In addition, as a lead teaching assistant, I am also responsible for examining the previous year's students midterm feedback and updating the lab materials. I enjoy teaching and interacting with students, which encouraged me to enrol in the Higher Education Academy (HEA) fellowship to obtain an associate fellowship (AFHEA).

I am a highly motivated mechanical and materials Engineer. I enjoy opportunities to teach and lead projects. Having worked internationally within applied engineering and academic organisations. I am conversant with both Higher Education (HE) and industry settings. This experience allowed me to develop skills in the fields of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, material design & fabrication, and product development. I have cultivated a range of research interests, including nanotechnology, CFRP composites, material selection, materials characterisation and quality management.
