About Laura
I have many years of experience teaching dance. I would love the opportunity to teach you contemporary, ballet, heels, jazz funk, and hip hop. I train beginners-advanced. I also have an AA Degree in Dance. I hope to train work with you soon! I have experience also training dancers to be ready to perform on stage, as well as on camera. It’s important to feel confident and comfortable being filmed as a dancer. This is not a mandatory part of training, but is a service I offer as your dance instructor. My goal is to make sure you truly understand proper technique and how to really make the most of your movement.

About the lesson

For each lesson, we will start with the perfect warm up to get you in your body and warm, and then depending on the time duration and style of dance you have chosen, I will then lead you through a series of technique building exercises, and then I will teach a combination. The combination portion of the lesson will not only strengthen your body, but will also support the necessary memorization skills needed to become a better dancer. Prior to the lesson, I would love to learn a little more about your previous dance experience and also your dance goals.
