About Irene
Ciao! My name is Irene, and I'm a native Italian speaker with a deep passion for my language and culture. Teaching isn't just a job for me – it's something I genuinely love, because I believe that language is the key to connection, understanding, and joy. I was born and raised in Italy, so Italian isn't something I studied from a book – it's the language of my childhood, my family, my everyday life. Every word, every expression, every nuance comes naturally to me, and I'm excited to share that authenticity with you.
Over the past five years of teaching, I've had the privilege of helping so many wonderful people from all over the world, each with their own unique story and motivation. I've worked with students who were relocating to Italy for work, so we focused on business vocabulary, professional communication, and the formalities needed to navigate the workplace with confidence. I've guided others who fell in love with an Italian and wanted to connect more deeply with their partner and their family, so we focused on everyday conversation, cultural nuances, and even a little romance. And then there were those who simply wanted to speak the language with confidence – whether for travel, personal growth, or pure passion – and together we built their skills step by step, at their own pace.
What I've learned from all these experiences is that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Every student is different, and that's exactly why I tailor my tutoring to your specific needs, goals, and lifestyle.
