About Poppy
I absolutely love teaching English. I'm currently a uni student myself so I completely get the stress and are constantly trying the best ways to learn myself. In my spare time I love going for walks with my friends and are really into photography.

The typical length of my lessons are an hour, however, I am happy to accommodate further to individuals attention spans.
My favourite ways to teach is by teaching using various methods that are fun and engaging like quizzes, educational videos and games! I'm a big believer in the only way you can optimise learning is through finding what you're learning about fun!
As much as I'm still building up my experience, I have learnt so much and been able to learn and test ways of teaching and seeing what engages students more through my first term of cover supervising at a high school. I also have 7 years of volunteering and leading Brownies.
I specialise in teaching Key Stage 3 and preparing students for GCSE English Language and Literature. I also specialise in English Language and English Literature for A Level Students.
