About Ceren
I am a researcher and instructor specializing in neuroimaging, neuroscience, statistics, and artificial intelligence, with over 15 years of teaching and mentoring experience. My academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biostatistics and Biomathematics, postdoctoral training in neuroimaging at Weill Cornell Medicine, and competitive research awards from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Since 2008, I have taught students at the high school, undergraduate, Master’s, and doctoral levels, covering subjects such as mathematics, statistics, programming (Python, R, MATLAB), and advanced neuroimaging methods. My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, practical steps, and tailoring lessons to each student’s learning goals, whether that’s exam preparation, research project development, or learning cutting-edge techniques in AI and brain research.
I am passionate about helping students build both confidence and competence, and I aim to create an engaging, supportive, and motivating learning environment.
