About Lindsey
My favorite experiences have come from participating in events which encourage a love of learning, such as the creative writing course I co-facilitated at the YWCA, the campus banned-book readings, Better World Book drives, and the events for which I have been a leader in my community to promote children’s literacy: Coordinating a ‘Harry Potter’ event at the local Boys and Girls Club, Project MORE (Mentoring for Ohio Reading Excellence), Bilingual Tutoring for ELL students, and the After-school Outreach Program.

I have always found strength in education, whether it be through my own learning or in helping others to grow. As a tutor, I am able to employ the skills I have gained through my own experiences in higher education, in order to aid a diverse population of students to further their individual educations, and ultimately reach their highest aspirations.
