About Betty
Teaching should feel like a conversation. Sound is physical. My Diploma of Music informs how I guide you through breath support and stage fear management.
We will look at your rhythm and phrasing using recordings of your own work. I review performance recordings together with you each month to track your growth as a hobbyist or exam candidate.
It is useful to see where you stood in previous weeks. We will integrate sight singing into your routine to ensure you feel secure on stage. My studio is a space for you to test your limits. I am here to help you find your unique tone.

Singing is actually not about having a perfect voice. It is about the courage to let your natural resonance be heard by others. I draw upon my Diploma of Music from JMC Academy to explain the mechanics of head and chest voice to my 227 students.
My 13 years of experience in Australia have shown me that anyone can improve their diction and articulation with the right warm up exercises. I bring my Latin roots to every session because singing without emotion is just noise. Focus matters. I will help you reach your vocal goals.
