About Yachna

I am a 20 year old who loves English Literature, kinda boring and a little lame for some, but for me it’s fun, as you get to act out the scenes, play a character to understand them better. It’s been a fun experience for me whilst I was in high school and it helped me understand the tasks better. The reason for me to teach is, I believe I can do it, I believe I can make English enjoyable for someone other than myself as well, and whilst teaching I’ll also learn a thing or two new from youse :)

About the lesson

I believe tutoring should be fun, if you’re having fun you tend to enjoy learning. Just reading and writing isn’t what helps you learn, putting it into action as well as laughing about the mistakes is what makes the lesson exciting. Acting out scenes and being in character helps you understand the books you are reading better, and yes I am aware that it can be awkward doing such things, it’s why I believe as a private tutor we can make that awkwardness not so awkward.
I have experience in plays and writing as English has always been my go to subject to learn and teach. Each lesson should go for 2 hours with breaks in between to allow for some air and space to freshen up the load of information. I am capable in helping tutor high school students
