About Mj
Having Trouble with Math?
It's almost certainly not you. The way most Math is taught isn't the way most of us like to learn. I can show you how to actually like it and feel capable and competent in class.
My name is Mj and I have been a professional teacher since 1991. I have a TC-06 which is a Master's level license in NS. I have taught Math and Applied Science in Nova Scotia Schools and in the UK. I have also taught computing science on both sides of the pond to the university level. I love teaching and I love it when folks realise that they CAN do it. It doesn't take long.
Comme j'ai enseigné en immersion français, je peux aussi vous débrouiller avec des ressources françaises. I also speak Spanish. I have a BA a BSc a BEd and an MEd with loads of experience in public schools and colleges in the UK and in Canada

I let the student lead me. We all have different interests and passions. Since Math is the language of the universe, it can be applied to pretty much any area of interest. I don't know about you, but I learn best when I am learning about something in which I am actually interested!
