About Kim
I am a first year Health Science student at the University of Manitoba. I have been actively tutoring my classmates since grade 11 as part of our high school's homework club. I continue to privately tutor a few of my classmates for my current courses in university, mainly first year Biology and Statistics.

I teach by getting students to understand the concepts for themselves. I do a few examples with them, then get them to do plenty of practice on their own to master it themselves. I have mini quizzes after every section to give them a chance to show what they've learned (or what they need to work on). I quiz them at the beginning of every session to make sure they're ready to move on. I mainly teach students in the same year as me, but I have also tutored younger students (one year below and middle school students). I usually attend class and learn the material with the students, so I am on the same page as them and go at their pace.
