My Name is Aastha, and I Teach English from Class 2 to 8
As an English teacher, my approach is rooted in clarity, creativity, and connection. I believe that language is not just a subject but a powerful tool for expression, confidence, and imagination. I aim to make every student feel both capable and inspired.
I use a mix of interactive learning, story-based teaching, and activity-driven sessions tailored to the age and comprehension level of each student. Some of my key methods include:
Phonics and vocabulary building (for younger classes)
Storytelling and picture prompts to improve creative writing
Grammar games and role-plays for better retention
Reading comprehension using short stories and current themes
Speaking and listening activities to enhance fluency and confidence
I also integrate audio-visual aids, fun quizzes, worksheets, and regular group discussions to keep classes engaging and effective.
A typical class with me follows this format:
Warm-up (5 mins) – Quick revision or language game
Core lesson (20–25 mins) – Based on grammar, vocabulary, reading, or writing

Doubt clearing & recap (5 mins) – Addressing queries and summarizing the lesson
