About Seneesha
I was inspired to start my own business because I wanted to reach a wider client base and have the freedom to support more students. I realised that by working online, I could connect with a broader range of learners and tailor my teaching to suit different needs, helping more students improve their confidence and achieve their goals in English.
I love seeing students grow in confidence and ability over time. With English Literature, it’s really rewarding to watch someone go from feeling unsure about analysing a text to being able to form their own ideas and express them clearly. I also enjoy making lessons engaging and showing students that literature isn’t just about exams- it’s about understanding different perspectives and building skills they can use beyond school.
I offer personalised, student-focused support that’s tailored to each individual’s needs and learning style. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence, while also ensuring they develop strong exam skills and a deeper understanding of English Literature and Language. My goal isn’t just to help students pass, but to help them genuinely improve and feel more confident in their abilities.

I tutor English for KS4 and below. I have transformed my "Face-to-Face" tutoring business online, allowing me the ability to help more students in need of tutoring. The services I offer include:
I offer an Online Tutoring Service bookable by the hour, which often takes place on Zoom, or Teams.
I also offer an In-person Tutoring Service bookable by the hour; prior to this service, there must be a mandatory online lesson, which often takes place on Zoom, or Teams.
1. Online Tutoring 11+
(For children in Key Stage 3-4, 11-16 years of age).
2. Online Tutoring >11
(For children below 11 years of age, Year 3-6). However, for children 7 to 10, a Parent/Guardian must be present (18+).
3. In-person Tutoring 11+
(For children in Key Stage 3-4, 11-16 years of age).

For children in Key Stage 3-4 (11-16 years of age). However, for children 7 to 10, a Parent/Guardian must be present (18+).
These can be booked through a link sent to your email or booked through the link on my profile ((concealed information)
There is a mandatory briefing with the parent/guardian on what needs to be done during the lesson time (for example, specific topic areas that the child struggles with, or simply showing the lesson plan).
Tutoring services for under 11 year olds require an additional 5-10 minutes before the first lesson -free of charge- to allow your child to become familiarised with the new environment.
Prior to In-person Tutoring, there must be a mandatory online lesson, in which the Parent/Guardian must also be present; this often takes place on Zoom, or Teams.

Details
The baseline fee is £13 per hour, however it can vary. Online sessions for under 11 year-olds is often only £10 per hour. In-person sessions tend to be more expensive (e.g. £15-17 per hour depending on the age).
