Hello, I'm Madi.
I'm an Oxford graduate, actress and award-winning spoken word artist.
I have a BA in English Language & Literature from St Edmund Hall, Oxford University (2013), and teach up to degree-level English Language and/or Literature.
I also teach humanities including History up to A-Level, and offer performance coaching for public speaking or auditions.
I can also assist with all areas of university applications: personal statements, Oxbridge interviews and entrance exams.
I have been working with children and young people since 2012, and been running workshops on creative writing for just over a year.
I run weekly cookery classes for primary school children in London, and am currently tutoring drama and audition preparation/performance skills for entrance to UK drama schools.
As a spoken word artist I run workshops for teenagers, students and adults - most recently for The Family School (for children excluded from mainstream education), and Southampton Solent University.
And for my personal credits:
I won the Roundhouse Poetry Slam 2016 and was a finalist in the UK National Slam Finals at the Royal Albert Hall.
I've performed my poetry for BBC iPlayer, BBC One, Soho Theatre and am currently appearing on Nationwide's current TV campaign for ITV Documentaries. I am developing a solo theatre show with three venues in London alongside co-running a small children's charity.
