About David
I completed my GCSEs in London, achieving 10 (A*) and 1 (A), then I completed the International Baccalaureate, at an international boarding school in Armenia (UWC Dilijan). I achieved a score of 43/45 in the IB, which only the top 1% of students worldwide achieve, with a 7 in HL Economics. While being in Armenia I competed in multiple-staged national rounds of the Economics Olympiad. I passed all stages and now I'm in the International Economics team 2026 for Armenia.
I know exactly the way to academically thrive no matter the talent of a person, I believe it's all about strategic hard work
For example, during the first of my IB Economics HL journey I averaged a grade 5 with immense struggle in essay-writing. However, I slowly understood the specific techniques when it comes to Economics essays, it's all about flow and interconnection. With this I managed to get not only a 7 in my final exams but the highest percentage out of my year.

Having undertaken the hardest high school programme (International Baccalaureate) I know first-hand how stressful academics can become. I aim to create a stress-free teaching environment because that's where I believe learning is most productive.
My lessons will be tailored to the weaknesses and needs of the student, I will ensure to cover all the minute details so there are no gaps in knowledge, with a big emphasis on completing past paper questions.
Because I just finished these exact exams, I know the current curriculum, exam traps, and mark schemes inside out. I don't just teach the theory, I teach you exactly how to write high-scoring answers to maximise your marks.
