About Jessie

I’m a patient, friendly, and encouraging person who genuinely enjoys helping others learn and grow. I approach teaching with a supportive and understanding attitude, creating a comfortable space where students feel confident asking questions and exploring their creativity. My passion for art and design drives me to share what I know, and I’m committed to helping students build both their skills and confidence at their own pace.

About the lesson

As a visual arts tutor, I would take a demonstrator-based approach, teaching by showing techniques step-by-step and guiding students through the process as they practice. My lessons typically begin with a live demonstration then followed by hands-on application and personalized feedback. What sets me apart is my ability to work across multiple mediums, including acrylic, watercolor, oil, pencil, and digital illustration, allowing me to adapt to different student interests and goals. My teaching style is especially suited for beginners to intermediate students, including high school or early university-level learners, who benefit from clear visual guidance and practical, skill-building exercises.
