About Mariel
I am currently an international student at Loughborough University. I am studying Criminology and I am very passionate about my course. I am learning French as my third language and after that I really want to learn Italian and Portuguese! I considered my self as a fun, social and really empathetic person, as well as hard working, responsible and determined. Fun fact about me is that I love working with children! I have a younger brother and every time I can, I go and volunteer at the nursery, children make you so happy with a smile. I started teaching because of my love for children and it has been the best experience ever!

I believe teaching has to be fun! My way of teaching is based on different activities with music, games and comprehension practice. I believe pronunciation , grammar and comprehension is fundamental and as a native speaker i can achieved that. Learning a new language or reinforce it, is a process that has to go slow for adaptation, depending on the spanish level of the student the class can go between 1 hour or 1.5 hours. I am a young teacher! I was a social service teacher back in peru and also a spanish teacher for people of different nationalities. I understand the struggle but knowing a new language opens so many doors for the future. I can assure that spanish is beautiful and fun to learn!
