About Mina

Although I am currently focusing on language study, I have always had a deep appreciation and love for my creative pastimes and continue to practice and create Art constantly. I received three A * at A Level in Art, Drama and Music and am keen to help in any way I can help others nurture and direct their creativity in order to achieve the marks they deserve for sketchbook assessments as well as for final piece assessments. A level art is not an easy feat, as the mark scheme and the various requirements are often vague due to the objective nature of what we consider to be correct in Art. however, as someone who has also gone through this dilemma of being able to express myself whilst ticking the mark scheme, I hope to offer the knowledge I have to those who need any assistance , even the smallest.

About the lesson

Since I have only passed my level last year, a lot of my teaching methods would be based off a very fresh knowledge of the art exam and the contents of my sketchbook. I have a lot of material that can be of use and I would work alongside my own recent approaches towards achieving an A star. What I can't give in experience I can definitely provide in innovative and relevant forms of teaching similar to the approach and teaching i had received from my own degree. I won't be looking to re-shape the tutee's art, as one's individual flare is always remarkable and full of possibilities. I would simply try to assist them through various techniques whether it be recommendation of artists, teaching them methods of exploring different artistic mediums or even just helping them understand the mark scheme for the exam. The main objective is to be able to create a portfolio of work which reflects the artists intention and creativity whilst also being clear and outline a narrative in the sketchbook for markers to visualize the creative journey.
