About Sakshee

I am a sixth-form student and have plenty of experience in group work and explaining various topics. I have a great love for Biology and especially the nitty gritty details so you can be assured to take away the maximum amount of knowledge from each session with me as your tutor :)

About the lesson

My teaching methods involve the student more and avoid passive power points - live diagrams and discussions around topics are what stimulate an active participation of the student during the lesson, and also maximise the knowledge that students retain. I use plenty of exam style and summary questions to help students practise their understanding of the Biology they have learnt.

One of the subjects that I found particularly difficult during my A level Maths course was the probability topic in the Statistics module. Sakshee was able to break down what was originally a complex and confusing topic into something much more intuitive. This helped me to then make significant progress with my understanding of statistics in general. This not only helped me in maths, but across other subjects such as biology that use similar concepts. I would highly recommend Sakshee as a tutor without any hesitation.
