About Tessa
I’ve created and adored almost every form of art there is. Utilizing a variety of traditional media my whole life and now having built digital media skills for 10+ years, there isn’t a medium I won’t try at least once. I attended a university for four years, where I met mentors that all taught me essentially the same thing. I was taught that our only limit in creating comes from within. Letting the tools at our disposal speak instead of the voice in our heads that tell us we can’t ever be a good artist, is a path that led me to a love and talent within any creative process.

I operate on the premise that all people have an inner artist. For most it takes finding a medium that works for their creative ideas to flourish and for others it’s simply about being taught through their personal learning style.
Whether it’s drawing, designing on a computer or getting messy with glue and paint, I can encourage excitement and creativity in people of all backgrounds. How to get ideas from our heads to the blank page staring at us is often the hardest part of making anything. What I’ve found is that providing support through a patient and mindful approach can help guide people through that tough moment. This results in feeling proud about what has been made no matter how hard the process felt in the moment, after all art is for ourselves to reflect and feel through.
