About Maya
I am an English Literature student at Trinity College Dublin. I studied for the 13+ Common Entrance exams as well as receiving the Common Academic Scholarship to Bryanston School. I then completed a mixture of A Levels and Pre-Us at Westminster School, London. I have always obtained straight As and A*s and I think and hope this can be a possibility for everyone - with enough confidence and the right teacher/ mentor!

I like to approach each lesson by focusing on aspects that my student may be worried about or frustrated with - often by tackling our worries and fears we are able to free up mental space for the work we need to do! As I continue to work with someone, I like to ascertain what it is that they hope to gain from our lessons that they are struggling with at school, and focus explicitly on these areas. With big class sizes and a mass of learning material, students often fall behind and feel disillusioned with this. By working consistently on challenging areas with me in a safe environment away from the social and academic pressures of the classroom, I want my students to regain passion for their work and confidence and pride in their subject.
