About Sarah
I’m 16 years old and speak three languages fluently, including French, which has been my first language. I’ve been attending a full French school since elementary, so I really know the language. I also enjoy working with kids and helping them feel confident in their learning.
My lessons are friendly, calm, and adapted to each student. I explain things in a simple way, use examples students already know, and make sure they understand before moving on. I can also translate between English and French when needed.
A typical lesson includes going over homework or a topic the student finds tricky, practicing it together, and finishing with a recap so they leave feeling confident. I focus on making learning clear and enjoyable.
My goal is to help each student improve at their own pace to feel confident and excited to learn French.

My ways as a tutor :
I try to keep my lessons friendly, calm, and adapted to each student. I explain things in a simple way, using examples kids already know, and I make sure they really understand before moving on. I can also easily translate between English and French if needed.
How I teach :
I focus on what the student is learning at school, break down grammar step by step, and use examples they’re familiar with. We practice together so they feel more confident, especially when speaking.
What a lesson looks like :
We start with homework or a topic they’re struggling with, go over it clearly and practice it until they have it down perfectly, then finish with a quick recap so they know what they learned.
What sets me apart :
French has been my first language and I’ve been attending a full French school since elementary, so I know the language inside and out. I’m also good with languages in general and enjoy working with kids, which makes learning fun and easier for them.
