About Ilia

My name is Ilia. I am a student who moved from Germany to Malta at the age of 21 and have been living here for one year. I am a very patient person and enjoy explaining topics as many times as needed until we find a way that works for you. I am comfortable working with both slow and fast learners and always adapt my approach to individual needs.

As I am still a student myself, I understand that some topics can be challenging and that learning does not always happen at the same pace for everyone. I know how helpful it is to have someone explain things in a clear and supportive way, and I am happy to offer that same support to others. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.

About the lesson

Teaching methodology:
Practical, conversation-focused lessons adapted to each student’s goals, combining speaking practice, listening, and writing explanations.

Lesson length:
30 or 60 minutes.

Qualifications / experience:
Native-level German speaker with a German higher education entrance qualification and international study experience. Not a certified teacher, but patient and focused on real-life language use.
