About Layla
"You know that your voice is a living instrument requiring constant care. My 13 years in the New York music scene taught me that vocal health is as important as pitch control. I draw on my BFA in Contemporary Music Performance from USC Thornton to teach diction, resonance, stage fear, belting, and harmony. You will master microphone technique and performance confidence under my guidance.
I have 7 years of experience helping students find their sound. Just breathe. I work with kids, absolute beginners, working professionals, returning learners, and teens."

"Truthfully, my warm-ups are sometimes more grueling than the actual performance. I believe that steady vocal health comes from repetition and daily consistency. You will receive recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice to keep your cords healthy.
My degree from USC Thornton informs how I teach resonance and articulation in every session. I bring 7 years of experience to help you manage stage fear and exam preparation. We focus on your specific range and comfort level throughout the process. Practice the basics until they become your natural habits."
