About Elijah
Hello, I’m Elijah, a Math tutor who genuinely enjoys helping learners discover that Math can be understood.
I started tutoring because I noticed that many learners struggle with Math not because they cannot learn it, but because they may have missed some important foundations or simply need concepts explained in a different way. That is where I enjoy making a difference.
I am patient, approachable and committed to meeting each learner at their current level. I have several years of tutoring experience and have taught students from Nigeria, the US, UK and Canada.
My goal is not just to help you get the right answer, but to help you understand how you got there, become more confident, and develop a stronger relationship with Math.

I help learners who find Maths challenging understand concepts clearly, strengthen their foundations and build confidence.
My teaching is patient, practical and tailored to each learner. I break difficult topics into simple steps, use clear examples and visual explanations, and give guided practice to make sure the learner understands before moving forward. Where necessary, I revisit earlier topics to fill gaps in their foundation.
Lessons are typically 1 hour and adapted to each learner’s pace and level.
I have several years of Maths tutoring experience and have taught students in Nigeria, the US, UK and Canada. I also have an engineering background with strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
I teach learners from Grade 1 to Grade 10, as well as adults who want to revise or rebuild their Maths foundations.
