About Haris
As a Computer Science graduate with a BSc and over two years of tutoring experience, I have supported students in achieving their academic goals across Computer Science, Mathematics, and Science. My approach to tutoring is based on patience, clarity, and adaptability. I believe that every student learns in their own way, so I focus on tailoring lessons to suit individual needs and learning styles. I break down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand steps, and I like to use real-world examples to make subjects more engaging and relatable. I also encourage active participation, asking questions throughout the lesson to make sure the student fully understands before moving forward. A typical lesson is one hour, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s requirements and attention span. Each session usually starts with a quick recap of previous material, followed by a focused explanation of the new topic, and plenty of practice questions to consolidate understanding. I also provide feedback and suggest strategies for independent revision between lessons. I hold a BSc in Computer Science and have over two years of tutoring experience, supporting students in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Science at KS3, GCSE, and A-Level. I have experience with a range of exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) and can help students prepare thoroughly for exams, coursework, and assessments.
