About Ronald
Many people struggle to differentiate between regional dialects and formal grammar rules. I fix this by grounding our sessions in the differences between Latin American and Castilian variants. We cover reading comprehension, exam preparation for the DELE, and practical travel Spanish for your next trip. My approach relies on my formal education and my life experience to keep things grounded.

Earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Spanish from the University of Melbourne laid the groundwork for my career, but my life as a native speaker defines how I teach. I spent 13 years playing in the Australian Latin music scene, where I constantly switched between linguistic worlds to connect with my audience.
It is interesting how music and language overlap in my work with the Latin diaspora community. I find that my experience as a performer adds a layer of cultural nuance that you cannot find in a standard textbook. I want to help you reach a level of fluency that feels natural for your specific goals.
