About Makafui

I am currently offering an MSc. in Actuarial Science and Management at the Heriot-Watt University. I also had my Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science with Mathematics options. I play the piano and I also have very good communication and teaching skills.

About the lesson

I employ the student-centered approach in teaching students. Thus, I prefer coaching students to help facilitate the learning process. I prefer assigning tasks and assignments to student to help them be an active part of the teaching and learning process.

I'm Makafui's classmate and friend who has sought his help for many concepts and subjects. Since I come from an Accounts background, actuarial science is pretty difficult. Makafui helps me better understand the concept by taking me through the derivation ( eg Kolmogorov's differential equation) so that I can apply the logic to different situations rather than just mugging it up. You will not be disappointed if you decide to engage with Makafui!
