About Favour
As an advanced mathematics tutor, I understand that choosing the right teacher is an important decision. I am committed to providing every student with professional, well-structured, patient, and supportive lessons designed around their individual learning needs and academic goals.
My approach is based on clear communication, preparation, consistency, and respect. I take time to understand each student's strengths and areas for improvement before adapting my lessons accordingly. I believe that every student can make meaningful progress with the right guidance, encouragement, and practice.
As an Advanced Mathematics and Further Mathematics tutor and Computer Software Engineer, I bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to my teaching. I explain challenging concepts in a simple and organized way while encouraging students to develop independent thinking rather than relying on memorization.
You can expect each lesson to be focused, engaging, and purposeful. I will patiently work through difficult topics with you, answer your questions, identify areas that need improvement, and provide appropriate practice to help strengthen your understanding.
Whether you are preparing for JSS, SS, GCSE/IGCSE, AS Level, A Level, or Further Mathematics, my goal is to help you feel more confident and capable in mathematics.
I am committed to creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and challenging themselves. Your progress matters to me, and I will encourage you throughout your learning journey.
**If you are looking for a reliable, patient, professional, and results-focused mathematics tutor, I am ready to help you reach your full potential.**

My Teaching Approach
I believe mathematics becomes much easier when students understand why something works rather than simply memorizing formulas. My lessons are designed to make difficult mathematical concepts clear, practical, engaging, and enjoyable. As an Advanced Mathematics and Further Mathematics tutor, as well as a Computer Software Engineer, I combine mathematical knowledge with logical thinking, problem-solving, and technology to help students develop confidence and achieve their academic goals.
My Teaching Method
I use a student-centered approach that adapts to each student's level, learning pace, strengths, and goals. I explain concepts step by step, starting with simple examples before progressing to more challenging problems. Students are encouraged to ask questions, participate actively, and learn from mistakes. My goal is not simply to provide answers but to teach students how to think, reason, and solve problems independently.
A Typical Lesson
Each lesson begins with a short review of previous topics and an assessment of the student's understanding. We then introduce the new concept using clear explanations and worked examples. Afterward, we solve carefully selected exercises together before moving toward independent practice. At the end of the lesson, we review the key concepts, correct mistakes, and identify areas that require further practice.
Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are designed for Students from JSS 1 through JSS 3, SS 1 through SS 3, and Advanced Level (Lower and Upper Sixth), including students preparing for GCSE/IGCSE, AS Level, A Level, and Further Mathematics.**
Whether you are preparing for an examination, struggling with a particular topic, aiming for higher grades, or simply want to strengthen your mathematical skills, I will tailor each lesson to your specific needs.
What Sets Me Apart
My software engineering background gives me a strong foundation in logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. I can also connect mathematical concepts to programming, technology, and real-world applications, making learning more meaningful.
If you are ready to improve your understanding, strengthen your problem-solving skills, and become more confident in mathematics, I would be happy to guide you step by step. **Let's make mathematics simpler, clearer, and more enjoyable together.
