About Aganang

Hello! My name is Aganang. I’m a dedicated Grade 9 student with a strong academic record and a passion for helping young learners grow in confidence and develop a love for learning. I believe that knowledge, leadership, and the ability to make a difference are not determined by age, but by curiosity, hard work, and a willingness to learn.

Alongside my academics, I actively participate in public speaking, debating, leadership, cultural activities, and provincial sport, all of which have strengthened my communication, patience, and ability to connect with others. I believe in leading by example and creating a positive learning environment where every child feels encouraged, supported, and capable of succeeding.

For me, tutoring is about more than earning an income—it’s about making quality learning accessible and helping young students realize their potential from an early age. My goal is to help every child leave each lesson feeling more confident, curious, and excited to learn.

About the lesson

My goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence, not just improve their marks. I believe that every child is capable of learning when they are given patience, encouragement, and the right strategies.

I incorporate evidence-based study techniques, such as active recall, regular practice, and summarising information in a student’s own words, to help strengthen understanding and long-term memory. Rather than simply memorising answers, I aim to help students understand the reasoning behind what they are learning so they can apply their knowledge with confidence.

I also believe that learning should never feel overwhelming. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s pace, ensuring they have enough time to understand each concept before moving on. I create a positive environment where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process, allowing students to feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.

Alongside academic skills, I help students develop healthy study habits and a positive mindset towards learning. I encourage students to stay calm, trust the preparation they have done, and approach learning with confidence instead of fear. My aim is for every student to leave each lesson feeling more capable, motivated, and excited to learn.
