About Zahia
As a high-achieving 2025 graduate, I’m passionate about helping students excel in English and other essay-based subjects by developing real understanding, not rote learning. My approach focuses on building confidence, clarity, and critical thinking, empowering students to write and communicate with purpose! I teach students from Kindergarten to Year 12, including: - Primary students building foundational reading and writing skills - High school students developing analytical and essay-writing ability - Senior students preparing for assessments and final exams Whether a student needs additional support or aims to reach the top bands, I provide structured, results-driven lessons that encourage independence and academic excellence.

My lessons are open to all students from K-12. My teaching style is structured, supportive, and focused on building both confidence and skill. I tailor each lesson to the student’s current ability, goals, and school syllabus, ensuring they feel challenged but never overwhelmed. I focus on understanding, not memorization, helping students think critically, write clearly, and express their ideas with confidence. I am a 2025 high-achieving graduate with extensive knowledge of the current NSW English syllabus (and other essay-based subjects such as History and Legal Studies). I’ve worked with a range of students from primary through to senior levels, supporting them in improving analytical writing, comprehension, and exam technique. Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, with the option for 90-minute sessions for older students or exam preparation. Each class balances explanation, practice, and review time.
