About Amelia

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic English tutor. Through mentoring younger students, I have developed clear communication skills and an adaptable teaching approach. My roles of being an English mentor and Literacy prefect have given me a strong understanding of how to support students with different abilities and learning styles.

About the lesson

I offer structured and friendly English tutoring for students from Year 5 to Year 11, including GCSE preparation with detailed knowledge of the AQA. My lessons are carefully planned and clearly explained, but always taught in a calm and relaxed way. I adapt each lesson to the individual student, focusing on building confidence in reading, writing and analysis. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their skills, and making steady progress over time.
